Hi, Y'all

I just graduated college and was looking to finally get into the Mopar scene, now that I will finally be able to save and afford one. I was looking for suggestions for types of Mopars that would be good for someone working with a budget as well as being 6'3 220 lbs. I have tried to sit in old darts before and it was definitely a bit tight. I'm kind of swaying towards the B bodies but they all seem so much more expensive. Any info helps!

I’m 6’2” and 280. I fit in my 70 dart just fine when it had a bench seat and even better now that it has buckets. I would love to have a B body but the prices are insane to me.

I'm 6'7" and no featherweight, no problem getting in and out of my 70 Dart. Even my 76 Pontiac Ventura isn't too bad with it's bench seat, a bit tight getting in and out but livable once I'm in.

Short of being a pro basketball player, I don't think you will find a major issue with room in an A-body or B-body. If you came to this forum, I would assume you have interest in possibly an A-body as your choice. You definitely can't go wrong with that. Not that you can really go wrong with any Mopar.

And welcome to the forum from Fredericksburg, VA.

If you think B-bodies are $$? Take a look at E-Bodies. Now that is crazy.

Get you a 69 coronet station wagon. Or a valiant or dart wagon. Then when you have kids you won’t have to spring for a mini van. You laugh at the thought but I have a feeling those wagons are coming back. I have seen a lot of people your age getting into them.

As previous posters have all mentioned most of us are all north of 200 pounds! I am a svelte 240 at 6-2. I got plenty of room in my A body. If you have issues simply get a removable steering wheel. I toss mine on dash and have zero issues getting in and out. Picture old fat crippled guy!
