Do You Remember Your First Cigarette?

-
I was maybe ten years old and Dad was smoking non-filter cigarettes or rolling his own. I asked for a drag one time and he granted my request. I coughed and coughed and coughed, never again picking up a cigarette. Dad started smoking at the age of ten and quit at the age of fifty. In his 80's he was diagnosed with COPD and walked around with a little oxygen generator.

Same story here. I think I was six or seven, and I puked as well as coughing and crying.

Here's my first...

More. Sorry, but true.

37 years later my wife quit .
So did the sex. True story.
Mean time I'm smokin....

Started smoking at age 17, At 23 I took a drag and coughed continuously for for an hour and quit. Started again about a year and a half later, never more than a pack every 2 days. That continued until New Years Eve 2018, I am 59, I had one left in the pack that night, I lit it, smoked it, when done I put the butt in the empty pack and threw it away, looked at my wife and said "I'm never buying another pack" and so far have been true to my words and New Years is coming, Definitely looking forward to staying that way PERMANITLY!

Nice. Good job

I tried cigarettes @ about 11 or 12ish. Taste was unpleasant and smoke made me cough a couple a times. Definitely didn't like it. The worse came when I got curious to try a cigar. Tried to smoke it like a cigarette and just about puked my guts out! Wasn't aware you don't inhale/swallow smoke. That did it for me never again.
