Any one that races at this track regularly has some strong opinions on the owner of the track but I just found out he passed away. The future of this track is really in jeopardy now unfortunately.
 
I understand that it was sold a couple years ago and is on a lease currently. I liked the cantankerous old bastard and several of my friends have been married by him or worked for him over the years.
That being said, I will be going to KilKare next year!

It looks like Rob is going to keep the racing going so hopefully he puts money into the track.
