Trying to make the fuel gauge work on my newly acquired 65 Dart . I have had the dashboard out and the gauges restored by D&M restoration in South Carolina. They fixed the burnt out voltage regulator and repaired the speedo. There is a new fuel sender, which I have grounded. The gauge will peg when I ground the sender wire, otherwise nothing...no movement at all. The sender is showing 82 ohms of resistance. The tech at D&M says that this is too much resistance. Suggested a 30ohm resistor wired in the circuit. Any other thoughts...?
Thanks,
Michael
