SOAP BOX:
In this day when we get so much of our stuff via online ordering, we have to deal with delivery folks who seem to be too darn lazy to get out of their non-maneuverable delivery trucks to get to the front door. I have a driveway that circles through a carport, so they can't drive through. They end up driving up to where they can't drive any further and then running all over the yard trying to get out. It can't be more than 50' from the street to the door, but they have to DRIVE there. Then, there was the guy who didn't want to make the trip up the driveway in his truck or on foot...he just left my car parts perched on the mail box.:soapbox:

Perched, and sat, and nothing more?

Funny my driver did about the exact opposite
My driveway is horseshoe shaped
Probably 200 feet or so from the road to the front porch
You can pull in one leg, take 5 steps and your on my porch, 5 steps and your back in the truck and you can pull out the other leg, easy peasy

Think it was Saturday, I could tell by his tracks that he stopped by the mailbox, got out, walked up to the front door and back the way he came

I'd be making me a phone call. UPS I'm assuming, they get paid to deliver to your house, not your mailbox.

It was a local delivery by Lone Star Overnight. I did call and complain, but the lady I talked to was kind of Ho-Hum uninterested.

I’d call Summit and complain. They chose the shipper and they have much more leverage than you do.

Glad they aren`t like that around here , they even get out in the rain and bring them to the door, always leasve the trucks in the street !

I think I`d take a few pics of things left on the mail box and get it to the appropriate bosses !

As suggested above, call Summit. I sure would and email the rep that pic. If you had ordered several hundred dollars worth of stuff would they just stack it by the mailbox? That's unacceptable IMO.
