Looking for advice, BB headers vs. HP manifolds

-
My brother Denny of HDK has a 383 (formerly 6-cyl) Duster and used TTi headers by
changing the #7 tube only. Don't know why TTi doesn't just make them all this way.
For access these were made with the engine/trans/K-frame outside of the car. I believe
that he may have made a slight change of the cross shaft ball on the bell housing also.

I didn't, I have a 67.
OP stated he had a 69 Dart.
Curious, is a bb swap into an earlier a-body supported by aftermarket parts, or stock parts?

Neither. lol

Are those the 1-7/8" headers that TTI sells for B+E bodies?

To the o p.. how easy was it to get your money back from Speedmaster for those big block heads?...

Does anybody do Extrude Honing anymore. That would be a great way to get a pair of HPmanifolds to flow better.

It's been a while but I remember the b engine in an a body with the Schumacher tri y's fitting as nice as a small block. Yeah the engine is taller and wider but the exhaust exits higher and maybe not as congested? Running the TTI 1 3/4 headers with a b engine would it really be much tighter than a small block with TTI headers? Keep in mind I may be in slight denial. Going from 340 with hp manifolds to 451 4 speed and not a 100 percent sure that's a great idea. I think the Schumachers would have more room than the manifolds and be easier to work on. I am planning on going TTI 1 3/4 headers. If TTI's shorty is as nice as Schumachers that may also be a nice choice over manifolds. Hydro clutch seems to have more clearance big or small block when headers are used.
