View attachment 1715520331 View attachment 1715520331 We fabricated a few extra of these manual shift brackets after the conversion over to console from stock 4 speed shifter location in a '70 Duster, an idea that Chrysler never pursued. They are made from high carbon cold rolled steel like the 1971-74 B-body pistol grip shift handle which Brewers and many other retailers sell. This is not cheap Home Depot hot rolled steel. It can only be formed into a 90 with an oxy-acetylene torch and machinists vise, (Unless you have access to a brake). Drilling requires cobalt or true HSS bits. We made 5, and now have 2 left.
If you have a console, you will need to use the console bracket shown here to offset the shift handle. For the A-body 4 speed cars, this is a must have combination. This shift handle can also used in the F-body 4 speed cars.
Hurst reproduction pistol grip as used in 1971-74 B-body cars (also works in 1967 to 1976 A-body cars) requires use of bolt-on style shifter mechanism. 14.25" overall length, 7" layback. Reference Hurst 53888580 Mopar Performance P4510611.
Six of the pictures taken below were taken directly behind the shift handle and in every position from Neutral, Reverse, First, Second, Third, and Fourth gears.
This sale is for one adapter bracket, one spacer , and mounting hardware only. Shift handle and other components in pictures are not included in this sale. $85.- and Free shipping to lower 48. Paypal only.
