ideas for insulating garage/wall ceiling covering

i prefer using the foam board sheets as well, but i dont know how it relates in insulation/price comparison


but if your budget is like mine...you my need to go this route

I have an attached 2 car garage and I added a 3rd car, on the outside walls I used 2x6's to get 6" insulation in. I can't show any pics because every wall is covered in sheetrock and have shelving against them all. Still not enough room.

you took an entire foot of your floorspace, turned it into insulation and it didnt give you any room ?
