Thank you Governor Kemp!

And my favorite Mex eatery in Dawsonville!

Pulled up and saw 6 highway patrol cars and several Dawsonville police cars there. Thought to myself they are closing it down! Nope they (10) were all seated at a big table and enjoying a great meal. It was nice to go out and have a meal neither my wife or I cooked. Likely over ate and one two many margaritas! Sure enjoyed it though!

We've been waiting for the crowds to calm down before going out. Drove by a local Mexican restaurant in Rome the other night and the parking lot was packed.

I sure am ready though!!

One thing is they Changed all the tables to granite from wood and had every other booth blocked off.

Don’t forget to leave a larger tip! These poor folks have been shutdown a while!

We've ordered carry out a number of times and I have been giving them a very good tip... just trying to do a little to help them.

I went to my favorite Sports Bar the other day and had one of their incredible cheeseburgers and an order of tots. I don't know what they do different than other places, but the burgers are magnificent.

We have a favorite Mexican joint we frequent in Gray. Super nice family owned and operated. Super cool people. We've been continuing to patronize with take out orders all through this. Kitty's birthday was on the 27th before Georgia decided to open back up. They insisted on us coming in and having supper in the back on them, even though no one else was eating in. We always leave at least 25% and usually more. They always bend over backwards to make sure everything is perfect. And get this......you know what my favorite is? Their cheeseburger and krinkle fries. Yup. Go figure a Mexican joint has a great cheeseburger and fries, but they do. lol

Been to Dawsonville on my way to daughters in Auburn few years ago. Took some hairy back roads to get there, and with NY plates. Had to stop at the Pool Room and have a greasy burger and see the place. It was kind of empty so I got to walk around and see the stuff on the walls, then to museum. Been a fan of Bill's since the 80's, now Chase. Cool little town with a race car on the street as a display, my kind of place.

Nice knowing you. Dibs on your stuff. (Sarcasm)

All the coronavirus has done to us, so far, is illustrate how little we contribute to the local economy. We haven't missed anything, other than refusing to go into Menards because they require masks.

I'm very curious to see how people will look back on this in a year.

About a week ago we were in Cleveland, small town with a Mex restaurant. Things had just opened for 25% at eateries. It was May 5 Cinco de Mayo, the parking lot was overflowing ..yea right. 25% lol
We eat out about one a year at edge of Houston at the best seafood restaurant there is.... Poppa's. We do it when we get a good check. Been a year and still hoping!!!!lol But Harris Co, ( N. Houston) is still all closed till June 7)
