So 15 years ago, I cheaped out and bought an open rail Econo Trailer. I think I paid 1850 for it brand new back then. 12 years ago, I put 2x10's just inside the rails, and a 2x4 down the center, to lay a 1/2 sheet of plywood on. Worked great to haul the 4 wheelers hunting. Been like that ever since.

The temporary mod? I just laid a sheet of 3/4in subfloor on top of what was already between the rails and built a 2ft high 9ft by 6.5ft box to haul the crush for under the pavers we're doing for the patio/pavilion/pit area. We are halfway done the 13x32 area. I put a trucking tie down strap over both ends just so it can't bounce up and down. I can carry 4 ton in it without issue.

Oh, and guess what Honey - a patio does not get completed in 48 hours in real life like they do on HGTV.....

Good job on the trailer.....and the pavers. I've put so many of those things down at the beach, it makes my back hurt just looking at your pic! LOL.

I'm only half way done the big part JD. Have a 4x12 area to do off the side to "wrap" the existing concrete patio, as well.

Put a Dodge Dakota hood ornament on my lawn tractor. Now it thinks it can hang with the real Ram.

And yes, I've abused that little trailer, too....
