Remove steering linkage to drop pan, may have to lift engine a little to wiggle pan around K frame, pump out ,windage tray, then thrust cap and roll new thrust bearing in rotating engine. Remove spark plugs so it turns over easy. I have done this on my back by myself in sub freezing temperature . I would first evaluate the engines condition first to see if it needs a rebuild, this way decide if it would be better to just
