One of the PO's for my car cut the dash for a DIN radio. I want to restore it and put in an original shaft radio. The problem is, I have no idea what was cut out to replace it.

Does anyone have an ummolested 66 radio that I could get a photo of what the dash looks like?

I found this 65 Dart dash locally, is it the same as a 66 Valiant? If so I can get it to patch in the correct piece for my project.

This is my '66 Barracuda dash. Someone hacked it up but at least left all the original metal there. It is back in place where it should be now as in the pic. I have a year correct Plymouth am radio that fits the opening perfectly.

From one fish to another, thanks! Would you have a photo of your radio to share? I found one that says Valiant on the faceplate, and - I think - it's pretty close to being a 66 radio.

Maybe? I bought this one recently, I think it's about right but I defer to those that know better - which is just about everybody...

Not sure if Dart GT and Valiant Dash is the same, but here is a picture of a 'spare' I have from a 66 Dart GT. Pen included for sizing. Hard to see in the black upper section, but on the left is Fan slide opening and right side is Heat controls (2 slots).
