Im in the process of stockpiling everything i need go put my demon back together and I have seen a couple pictures of dusters/demons without the chrome around the windsheild and back window, is there a company that makes a chrome delete window seals? Anyone have and ideas or pics

Check with Classic Industries . Ijust looked up windshield gasket for '72 a-body and I think there are 2 for your ride . I didn't look up anything or the rear . I just ordered my windshield gasket from summit because I knew the "Precision Gaskets " part number andI don't want to deal with C.I., IMO, they suck .

I think you would install larger glass, installed like modern windshields, no gaskets, just urethane.

And where would you find larger glass for a 48 year old car? It's hard enough to find the stock glass.

Don't ask me, possibly custom made? I've seen it done by the boys on T.V....Don't shoot the messenger... I didn't ask the question, I have chrome on my car...

There is a company called Fesler making flush mount glass for muscle cars. Looks like mostly GM and some Ford applications.. Maybe some other companies out there doing Mopar???

I don't think that molding delete was a factory option. My 70-71 FPM only shows one gasket.

it just never looks "right", to me  with the window trim not chromed. and if your going to paint the bumpers, might as well just go with fiberglass

I also powder coated the bumper to match the chrome delete. I get a lot of comments on it, about a 50/50 split likes and don’t like. Most guys just like the bumper to be chrome. Chrome don’t get ya home!

thats exactly what im after my demon is originally a tx9 car and I personally love the blacked out look so having black everything will be the goal, the idea of fiberglass bumpers interests me too

FYI I checked on fiberglass and quite honestly it was cheaper to powder coat. Of course zero weight reduction. I figured this one is going to be more street than strip so I wanted steel on both ends. My Cuda has fiberglass bumpers, I like the weight reduction but it is purpose built. Just my .02 worth

That's another very valid point! Having steel bumpers is probably alot safer, im running a 440 so weight reduction has been important and my fenders and hood are fiberglass! Im as confused as all the colored haired freaks running a muck in the streets these days
