I have a 73 duster drag car w/360 and off brand 1 5/8 headers and was wondering if Hooker 5204 headers will fit.?

I have them in a 72 Demon (408, manual steering/manual brakes) and "it's a tight fit." Famous last words. Mr BFH had something to say to the headers but you're caught between the steering box and the drag link. Very tight! One good thing - plenty of room for the mini-starter!! (Note that I don't know how much different the engine bay is for a 72 Demon vs a 73 Duster.)

My car has no inner fender panels left, and I run a mini starter. Just wondering if the bigger tubes might help upper Rpm.I shift at 6600 Rpm and finish pass at 6800 Rpm

TTI are the best fitting headers. Engine bays are the same, won't require a 90* adapter, no need to remove any steering components or links between tubes (just might need to lift the engine a bit). Their 1 5/8"-1 3/4' step headers work great on my low-mid 11 second Dart Sport. The small exit tubes keep bottom end while the larger step helps up top.

The 5204 is my second favorite header. Seen the TTI’s and I’m not impressed. I’ll be installing a set here in few weeks so I’ll see how that goes.

I’d love to dyno the TTi headers against Hooker 5204 and 5303’s and see the results.

I run hedman 75140. Had to cut one hole on each side for one tube. Had to smash the one tube some in the passenger side to clear my milidon 8 quart pan. Other then that they are easy to take in and out, I am happy with them

Yeah, that’s a great header except for cutting the hole in the fender. I just can’t make myself do that any more. Other than that a great header.

I agree with yellow rose, I am not impressed with my TTIs, They fit to close to the trans and trans shield, i had to modify my shifter cable bracket to clear the collectors, don`t like taking the front end apart to remove the headers and/or motor, don't like the one piece design hard to install by yourself, after three years in a dry car they are rusting already. the only advantage was not having to use a 90 degree oil filter adapter. I should have just went for another set of Tubular Automotive brand. The TTIs might be okay for a street car the motor never comes out of but IMO not a race car. Todd at Marsh Performance was great to deal with when I purchased them. I am probably going back to Tubular Automotive headers next time the motor comes out. IMO TTIs are over priced and over rated.

I have Doug’s headers on my 69 Dart, and they fit better than several sets of TTI’s i have had on Dusters.
Really like them. Seem to make solid horsepower too

no had them on my 360 with eddie heads. Now going on my 418 with eddie heads
They are 1 5/8. Went 11.20’s on my pump gas 360 with them.
They are for standard head
