Did you have to Dremel the holes for the gauges at all? My AutoMeter gauges are just millimeters too big for the stock holes.
I did the same with my 66B-Cuda dash bezel. I kept my origional dash, and used a dash I bought here on FABO.
I used the metal part with it. All I did was to use a 2 1/8th BI-Metal hole saw in the back of each gage. It worked out real good. Got rid of the circuit board, basically rewired the whole gage system , using what i could of the stock sending wires. I fitted new dash lights where the stock ones were. These were extra after market gage light sockets.
On the plastc bezel, all you have to do is touch the hole diameter with a half round file, and smooth the hole with 400 grit sand paper. file alittle, then check with a gage.
For the after market gas gage I taped onto the original wire comming from the fuel tank, in the LH kick panel, Its light blue. Just make sure your aftermarket fuel gage is the same ohms as mopar stock fuel gages.
After all this I installed a second fuse panel, and all the gages, and dash wiring goes to it. The sending unit wires from the engine, in the bulhead connector, have all been bypassed, along with other wires.
As you know 66B-Cudas have no dash board, turn signal indicators, only the fins on the front fender. I am planning on in stalling a pair of them in my dash. All you should have to do is tap onto the turn signal wires at the base of the steering colum electrical connection, and put some small LED indicators in the dash. You can get prewired tiny LEDs, in different sizes, and colors.
