UTG -The Mighty 318

Such as a W2 headed, solid roller 318. I'd like to see that in a N/A race against a 5.3.
You got a guy by you that can port the snot out of a W2 with outstanding results in excellance?
Ok, so fill me in. How did UT screw over lamb chop? Also, evidently the guy has never heard of startling line ratio. A close ratio gear box isn’t always a good thing.
IMO, I think the drunkin bastard see's UT's yelling at Lambchop as being a mean bastard with no reguard to his total 100% rookie state. (I thought it a bit ruff myself in addition to being overly excited a bit much...) Lambchop had just gotten cancer, (IIRC, Known at the time) but has later beat it. His rank on the OD 4spd isn't exactly justified IMO, because UT said up front he would be using it since he had it. Instead of making a purchase. The whole car effort is a "On The Cheap" exercise as well as a surprise sleeper being a 4 door B body of smog years. While most people use the standard 4 spd in some variation, early or late unit, normally the 4spd OD is overlooked by almost everyone except thjose loking for the OD ratio to cruise in. While NOT ideal IMO, I also don't see an issue with it's use and even better because it is a USE WHAT YA GOT deal. IMO, as long as you can get the car to hook well, then the starting line ratio is killer. the big drop going into 2nd is something you workaround and plan for. IF your not smart enough to know what to do, ....
then trade the transmission out. I don't see 4th as a viable gear to use onthe strip. But perfect for gettinghomeon after the track.
