Hey folks. First post here. Just getting a 69 340 dart back on the road and finished. My dad bought the car when I was young (30+. Years ago) and it sat in the garage. To make a long story short it’s pretty much complete. I need to order the “Dart” emblems for the front hood and bumper. Does anyone have a link for a preferably source? Also really enjoy driving the car it’s super easy and relaxed to drive. Next will be figuring out the steering box. Everything is new on the car but it seems sloppy. My 2nd gen Cummins has tighter steering

Regarding steering, are you so used to rack and pinion that old steering feels sloppy?

Welcome aboard Jamie, from another Canuck. Nice dart!
PG Classic sells repops and are Canadian (Chinese made tho). I dont believe anyone else has better than PG. I believe they are the mfg as well.
Post a want ad 1st. Someone may have a nice used, or even a new repop they arent using.

Nice Dart.
For emblems, Try:
Year One or
Classic Industries.
Pricing and availability varies.
Good luck.
Update:
I see your in Canada, best try 4spdragtop s suggestions of PG Classics first.

Beautiful Dart! Love the stance, info on the springs and tire size?

Sloppt... Do you have power steering? I have power steering and it feels super light, wish I could tighten it up.

When you say bumper emblems, I believe you mean the ones on the trunk, like these?

Yes, I do have power steering. I agree it is super light.
Correct on the emblems that is what I need. I was going to wait until I get the final buff and polish after the paint job but I may as well have them in my garage.
I will need to get back to you on the tire size. I should remember that but I don’t. They are the 14” Rally wheels. The tire size is perfect IMO for this car.

Jamie,
What model do you have there? Curious.
Is it a Swinger?

Well to be honest it was orginally
A slant 6, not sure if there are different models with that... my dad bought the car when I was like 3 or 4 years old, so approximately 34 years ago. Anyways he pulled a 340 out of a Duster and bought the 340 hood, 727 trans etc and this is what it is now. So I don’t think I’m answering your question lol... I think every nut and bolt has been replaced. A guy in Nova Scotia has a shop and builds Mopars, he did a lot to get it to this point. Also it was in the garage for almost 30 years. It was just finished this past summer.

Gotcha,
So the heavy lifting is done.
Clean slate, so make it whatever you (or your Dad) would have wanted.
Swinger, Sport, GT, GTS...
Its only a few emblems or decals away.

Based on the picture.. his Father wanted it to be a Swinger! Thankfully for him not a GTS, or he'd be looking for a full trunk trim piece... :D
