I like them too, I never get credited for being smart, however. lol
 
Yes, I knew what you meant. I always hated at swapmeets, when someone had a pile of carburetors, the TQ's were always at the bottom and all banged up. Nobody liked them.

Their loss, I guess. I'm thinkin of trying one on a slant six.
 
I saw a picture of one on a slant a long time ago. Likewise, I'm going to try one on my 273 Dart also on a Holley Street Dominator. Can always put something else on if it don't work out.

Yeah, I'm probably going to try my QFT 450 first to get it up and running and then build a TQ for it. We'll see I guess. My only worry is, with a camshaft in the 260@ .050 range, it's going to be difficult for the metering rods to maintain idle.
 
You guys be quiet bragging on these carbs, you’ll make the prices go way up
