Anyone know of a good shop, I am looking to have my 904 transmission rebuilt here in the Allentown/Bethlehem area. I was thinking about going with Cope and getting a replacement but it appears they are out of stock. I am pretty sure the trans is original and its making weird noises like a whining sound. I've changed the fluid and filter. The car was born with a 318 but was replaced with a 360 along the way.
 
If you feel like taking a ride to Delaware, Frank Lupo's Dynamic Converters/ProFormance Transmissions is in Newark.
 
Depends on how it works, the wining noise could be the rear bearing on the output shaft. My dad had one go bad in his truck. It can be changed in the car yet, just have to remove the tailshaft.
