Milodon pickup preference !!

-
I have the Milodon 8 qt pan, windage tray & static pick up on my 408, it will be transferred to the 416 once it's complete.

Not sure why static would be better unless there’s a reliability issue with the swinging setup.

At the time I built the 408, it was to be a street engine, if I had it to do all over again, I'd go with a swinging pickup set up. But what I have has worked well for 12 years. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I have had great luck with a baffled pan and static pickup,( milodon) some forms of racing and side to side g-forces may benefit from a swinging pickup.

the s/stock hemi cars , like sox , christian, grotheer , hale, mancini etc. ran swinging pick ups for a reason , good enough for me .

Thank you for info I recently obtained 2 pans and needed pickups etc not sure which one to run or just wondered if one is superior to the other !
Im sure they will be kinda low in my 66 A body because of limited tire height up front with fenderwell headers.
