I just put together a 408” with a scat crankshaft, the only thing preventing me from putting it in the car is a pilot bushing, they are the on back order from summit and jegs. I called brewers and they don’t sell one that fits. It needs to be 1.094od x .752id it’s not the standard Mopar size on the od. Any suggestions on where to get one?

ill have to go the the local machine shop this Saturday.

BTW there is nothing standard Mopar sized about the hub register in this aftermarket scat crank, it is a standard Chevy size or so I’m told. I have a Mopar roller bearing and it doesn’t fit.

The bearing I referenced locates in the CONVERTOR hub register, not the pilot register.

I've used the Mopar roller bearing "hub" and had a Mopar bushing pressed in the hub in place of the roller bearing before. Wanted to keep a bushing like the factory used back in the day. Any machine shop can turn the OD/ID of the hub to the bushing size you need if you choose to go that route. Or make you a oil lite bushing from scratch.

You could buy the Chevy bearing for and have it drilled / machined for the Mopar shaft diameter. I have done this before.

Mancini’s may sell the right bushing for Scat crankshaft OD pilot hole

I don't remember having any problem with a factory roller bushing in my scat crank...
Exactly. Since it mounts in the convertor register, there should not be a problem. Otherwise, Scat is selling a crank that you can't run a Chrysler automatic behind, and I just don't see that happening, ever.

Well I'm not there personally with the ops crank I just don't remember having any issues with mine...

Any dealer, you want PN 4338876 (bushing) or 53009180 (roller bearing). They press into the TC pilot hole. If they do not fit, something is wrong with the crank.
