The whole Cemetery looks like this . We have been fighting for over 3 years to fix it . The latest excuse is the sprinkler system failed and of course Covid . If a residential lawn looked like that they would get a ticket from Code Enforcement . We tried that..no luck . Some are looking into a Class action Lawsuit like the people in Farmington, New Mexico did. I just talked to the guy in charge of grounds . Of course "the other guy" let it go and He was sent "to fix it "

Sorry, Yeah that's very unfortunate.
Suppose it's a testament to people lacking pride & initiative in their work not to mention lack of respect for what they're caring for.

Someone needs to lose their job.
It looks to me that someone used a non-selective herbicide like roundup to spot spray and killed the grass.
It wouldn't hurt the NEW guy to at least mow it.
better yet, he should lose his job to a real groundskeeper.
I bet he's pecking on his phone right now. lol

Hasn't had any water on it in over a year other than rain... supposedly the Sprinkler System failed . According to the guy I spoke to the "other guy" was fired and he was hired "to fix it" I told him I would hold his feet to the fire every step of the way. Now if we could get more people to do things besides complain and set on their hands we might get somewhere.

Once a year where my grandparents and a lot of other family member are buried we have what they call "home coming" . Everyone brings a covered plate and refreshments and go through the cemetery cleaning up the graves. Of course this is a small rural cemetery out in the middle of nowhere.
