Mbm master cylinder push assembly

So I bought the MBM front manual front disc kit from Pirate Jack with a new master cylinder.
I’m wondering if I need to use the adjustable push rod kit that came with the kit or can I use my old push rod, I did order the correct bushing/seal for the end of it that goes into the cylinder. Also, how does the assembly go together with the rubber boot. Any help would be great. Here is a pic of the parts I have.

The parts on the left look like they’re for a power brake booster assembly. I’d go with your original rod. Smarter guys will chime in.
