Happy Canada Day!

Happy Canada to all our Canadian members. It’s 37*C that’s 99*F. I got into my Jeep after it sat for a few hours. 47*C. That’s 116.6*F. Kim

Yup, its hot!! Pretty quiet here in my small town. Will sit out at dusk and listen to the local yokels setting off fireworks while disregarding the fire /fireworks ban. Its bone dry.

But it's their god-given right to blow up their paycheck...

Thanks, and happy Canada Day to our fellow Canucks. We went golfing with another couple and then came back to our place for a BBQ. A good day.

Stay hydrated out there in western Canada as a heat dome passes thru. The hottest place in North America this past Tuesday was Lytton, British Columbia which reached 49.6 degrees C (121F). That also set a record in Canada for the hottest temperature ever recorded in the country beating a previous 45.4 degree temperature in Saskatchewan set in the 1930’s.

Sadly, less than 24 hours later, a fire ripped thru the town and there’s hardly anything left of Lytton now.

Lytton fire: Residents unaccounted for; most of B.C. village destroyed, officials say
