I was expecting a UPS package the other day. At about 4:00, I got the text like the one pictured below. At first I thought it might be legitimate, because what was coming was rather expensive, and the driver might have wanted a face-to-face delivery. And I was in the back doing yard work, so I might have missed the doorbell. When I clicked on the link I came to a screen that told me to input name and address. I thought that was strange. Wouldn't UPS already have that since a tracking number was displayed? Plus, they wanted $3 on a credit card to schedule a new delivery. I have gotten the same text several times since. Fishy, fishy, fishy.

I get those same messages from all of the carriers, I tried reporting them & finally stopped because it does nothing. I keep the message for about a week & then just delete it.

Never open those, click bait, they download a virus when you click on them. Just block them.

I normally never do, but I was expecting a rather important UPS package, and for the first few seconds, it seemed legit. Up until the time I saw they wanted money and a credit card number. I thought to myself that UPS would never do this.
