Well I'm going to build a California highway patrol car for my police officer friend from California.

I did some Ohio State cars using decals I made from copying the logo from the web site and also a seat belt warning I received back in the 80's. I kept it specifically for that purpose.

CA decals should be pretty easy to find.

this kit comes with California highway patrol decals. So this will be a fun build.
 
This is where I'm at currently as I type this. I went into my parts box and pulled out some red line tires .

I've built 2 for my SIL's- one is a '01 Crown Vic for DeKalb County, GA (what he was driving when I first met him) and a '96 City of Atlanta Crown Vic for the other (he wasn't there then but it's the model they drove during the Olympics). I also added their badge #s to the trunk. Got the decals for both online.
 
Had to put 2 coats of white I have also dulled the black alittle to make it look like it's been in the California sun alittle. A magic eraser wet slowly go over what you want dulled. If you go to fast you will burn through the panel.

Bud you reading my mind? I was thinking about putting his badge number on it. Yall won't see that part tho lol. I built a batman cop car outta dodge kit and sent it to him he like it . So I'm going to build him one more.
 
What motor is that supposed to be? Looks like it has wide heads like a Hemi. lol
