Got my kit from 440 SRC yesterday!! Put the crankshaft in my block today to see what, if any clearance issues i may have !! To my surprise none ! So i installed my connecting rod to check rod to block clearance !! Went through all the cylinders no rod clearance issues !! Had .070 and up clearance on all the rods !! Now to get all the slag off the block and finish tapping all the bolt holes in the block !! Get the block to the machine shop to get it cleaned up, and bored !!

cool. you did mean 'chase' the block threads not 'tap' them didn't you? running a normal tap down them can loosen the threads which is not good. you probably knew that, but best to ask i always say as it's an expensive mistake if you didn't.
