Demons have always brought a little extra over the price of a duster or dart sport it seems.
I have always figured a 4 speed car is worth minimum the value of its sum of 4 speed parts over the worth of a TF.

I totally agree. Unless you are skilled at car work, you are better off buying the nicest close to stock car you can. and a 440 transplanted into an A Body that looks a little rough around the edges may not be it. For that kind of money, you should be able to find a decent 340 car.
 
Here is mine. This is a 71 H code 340. I won't say what I paid but it was a great deal less than that thing.

Life got in the way of this project. This is on hold until spring :(
