I have the info somewhere. I can't find it. I need the bearing setting for new on my 8 3/4 set up. Backlash different with new bearings? Pinion 10 to 15 inch pounds for used ..new?

I just happened to be setting up a couple of 8 3/4 center sections. Correct pinion bearing preload is 20 to 30 inch pounds for new bearings, 0 to 15 on original bearings. Backlash is usually scribed on the ring gear, factory spec is. 006 to. 008 at the point of minimum backlash .
