in all seriousness, those 1920s are just not good carbs.
I had to rebuild the one on my slant THREE times in 4 months.
the foam or whatever material floats just disintegrate after sitting for a long time and clog all the oraphaces in the carb. (inside the carb was orange every time I opened it to re-re-rebuild it)
the float bowls and the actual carb bodies on those warp too if someone along the line overtightened it. On the last rebuild of mine I had to buy cork gasket sheet and make my own super thick gasket and put a lot of silicone sealer all over it. (DON'T DO THAT. I knew it was totally mickey mouse and wrong when I did it but it just had to make it to one show and back, I swapped the slant out 3 weeks after that)
So just buy one new. it'll save you a lot of hassle and time.
