Huge Collection of Vintage Dodge and Chrysler Cars and Parts Needs You to Save It

A business like that has run it's course.
Just no demand for someone to invest the rest of his or hers lifetime, trying to sell cars, parts, what's left of everything, there.
Times have changed dramatically, and it's changing faster and faster as each year passes us by.

Going through all that would be a near impossible task if you wanted to part them out, and I’m sure all the good stuff has been cherry picked over the years...hopefully some stuff gets saved or someone comes in and takes it over

So how does an inventory thats going to be crushed if no buyer is found justify the 2 million price tag. That’s scrap price of $100-$200 a car, maybe and real estate that Illinois DNR is going to be testing along with the EPA for the next 10 yeas as you slowly clean it up. Illinois is a bastion of liberals that will hound you to the gates of hell. Besides that, what businessman knows how to turn a profit on a $200 pile of rust besides the guys here on FABO?

From just a business perspective the PNL's would be hard to really capture throughout the years and that's when the low hanging fruit was still on the property. As time moves on there will be a movement of inventory for new ownership but the sought after parts should pretty much be stripped at this point.....

I doubt they see the crusher. Absolute and final sale auction is what I see in the future unless the owner wants to go the painless route and just let it all get salvaged which would be an extreme way to liquidate the property....

For 2 mil a entrepreneur could invest his efforts into something far more lucrative than this. The owner is just trying to ride the wave and cash out....

If anyone would bite, it would be at 15 cents on the dollar for the parts/cars. Takes many years to make $$ on this. Like mentioned the r/e has huge issues too. I bet Ted would agree.

All the money to be made on "those cars" has been made. It will need new inventory to continue on and there's mo money mo money. It's a losing proposition.

I had a friend who worked for Larry in the 90's.
There was some falling out and he left.
They have been trying to sell the business for a few years.
