Extra hood storage

Anybody have any ideas? I have 3 hoods I need to store. 1 I kinda need to access and 2 that can be stored. High ceilings in my garage. Used to hang 1 on the wall but that takes up a lot of room. Anybody make brackets or shelves for such a thing? Show me what you did please.
 
I used the platforms from an old metal bunk bed for ceiling storage. Hung them with some heavy duty gutter strapping. Very cheap if you find them at garage sales or thrift stores

Make up a rack on the floor that separates each hood from each other. It'd take up same space as one hood.
 
There is only one logical answer........

Buy two more cars that are missing hoods. :)
 
I just laid 2 pieces of 2x4 down as skids and stood my 2 hoods and a deck lid on their sides, up against the wall in a corner. Put a blanket between them if ya want.

I used ratchet straps and left it up there until after the engine was replaced. Then lowered and adjusted it single handed. methinks chrgdrt's is more robust and user friendly though.
