New Edelbrock VRS -4150 race carb

This is only the tenth thread on these carbs. Kim

I hang out on here a lot, first time I ever heard about these carbs was a Facebook ad today.
They aren’t even selling them yet.
So what was everyone’s opinion of them that I somehow missed?

The TPS mount and bowl drains are a nice touch. Definitely a lot of tuning options.

I want to see the users tuning manual.

Be interesting to hear the independent testing reports...... and what the pricing looks like.

Fortunately(?)..... I’m fairly “carb rich” and can’t see myself needing one anytime soon.

It looks interesting. I’d like to see the specs on the 950.

I knew I read here in the past about this carb. Maybe there are a handful of guys here who have simply run out of finding power and improved transitions etc with the tuning they’ve done on their correct sized for their engine and package Holley 4150 and could benefit from a carb such as this. Or if you’re starting from a clean slate and need a carb that suits your tuning ability etc. Everyone else? Marketing gonna market.

Edelbrock 4150 carb.

I still haven't seen a price for them, but that is a nice looking carb, I like that the main body is tall, I like also the peened finish. I did that finish on my dominator main body before Edelbrock because I thought it was a good idea. I suppose that is the case
