Plus, it's a vehicle you can actually still USE as a truck.
 
I'd bet the average guy w/ a 14 sec chubrmaro or stinkity stang that thinks that they are street kings, would have a fit!!! Dig It Man! Killer Job Man!
 
Do we know the build specs and the rest of the drivetrain?

Aha.... I did notice the flags flapping in the background and thought about the headwind but forgot about it after the other car almost ate it in the first race .

We should, it's been all documented on my build threads. But here is the basics:
  1. 360 magnum, almost 200,000 miles short block untouched. Oregon regrind cam (218/224 @ 050), hughes spring kit, speedmaster intake black Friday sale, 750 DP
  2. Free 727 dirty and untouched, with a hughes off the shelf street converter
  3. 8.75 rear end with 4.30 gears.

oh, you mean my thread "10.99 on 5k ?" ? Me and my son, and son-in-law was going to attempt to do that project. Because of scheduling, they pretty much haven't been a part of the project, so my wife and I have been building the truck. Original plan was a big block in a gutted, cheap, 4 door car. The truck would add much more difficulty but we are still going to go as fast as we can, but trying to keep the "original look" for as long as we can. Still the plan to go Big Block in the truck. If it goes 10.99 or not will be for the future to tell.

Yes, the head wind does kill. My full size, loaded (panels, AC, seating, front and rear) B300 Maxi Van runs a 16.0 @ 89 MPH in the 1/4. Not sure on the short time. 340, iron heads (X), with a little work done.

Very cool! What year of B300 ? Our 1989 B250 van ran 15.8's
