Hemi opinions

I plan on doing it on here. I just have to find time to go get the engine now lol

Small block bell housing will bolt right on. You'll need to go to Rylis Productions for a flywheel. They have options from heavy steel to light aluminum.

I'm a retired police officer, and I agree with what others here have said, the police car engine is not the best choice. They are right in that the cars do spend long periods idling and they aren't well cared for either. I would definitely go with the 2014 option!
I am a retired officer was well. Yes, idiling is an issue. However, we had take home issued vehicles, and officers took very good care of them. No one wanted their vehicle down for repairs, and officers that I worked with always made sure the vehicles were serviced on time.

We had the take home units too. I definitely took care of mine but I couldn't say the same for others, it could be hit or miss. I was the firearms instructor for 14 years and the care some officers took of their handgun, a tool that they might need to save their life, was sometimes appalling! You actually think they regarded their patrol car with any higher concern? I still say stay away from the police engine, unless you have first hand knowledge of how it was maintained.

I hear ya! I could tell ya plenty of horror stories about firearms requals as well as morons that didnt take care of their stuff.
And yea, I wouldnt use a police hemi either.
