A/C and Power Steering Delete on 07' Truck 5.7 HEMI

I'm gonna shoot from the hip (which means I'm guessing) but having worked at the mopar dealership for 20 years I know that the techs loved to cry about manual steering when a Ram lost power assist, so I'm gonna say ANY truck hemi has provision for P/S so it seems reasonable to assume you may have to switch to a pass car timing /water pump housing to delete the p/s and do whatever mods that set up requires.

Actually, my engine had a car timing cover on it when I got it, but I had to swap to the truck cover because I am going to be running a Procharger for the truck covers. It also helps out that the radiator hose routing on the truck cover seems much closer to working with my Champion rad for LA SB inlets and outlets.

I use truck covers and modify them to use a gm cs130 alternator. I dont use a/c or p/s. I dressed down the right (looking at it) upper bolt boss and installed a factory idle pulley. Its been driven and drag raced with no issues. If your gonna use the stock alt. It shouldn't be an issue

That looks fantastic! From what I see, it looks like you omitted the power steering completely, added an idler where the a/c pulley would go, another idler between it and the relocated alternator? I am going to be using the stock alternator mounting location. So technically I can do away with a p/s pulley completely, and just throw in an idler for the a/c location? Also, how is belt selection with the stock 7 rib truck stuff?
