Here’s mine! Was buying some 340 parts and saw this in a pile. Rusted and forgotten. I asked how much and he told me it was mine. It’s crazy old and cleaned up really nice!

Got a complete 73 340 for free. Cast crank is std/std and have the fresh rods and heads on the shelf. Traded a set of 1/2 ton truck axles for a rebuilt steel crank 440. Swapped a Torker 340 for a nice LD340.

71 Challenger conv. I found it in a falling down chicken house, covered with an old Army tent. I was patrolling power lines looking for rotten poles, and saw the *** end of a 71 Challenger peeking out from under the tent. Pulled the tent up to look, and saw the original conv top hanging in rags from the frame. It took me over a year to get it bought, and hauled it home in 1989. I fixed it my way instead of back to original. It was B7 blue with B5 interior, 318/904. Now it’s Plum Crazy with black interior, 360/727.

I found a Superbird in a barn in Holden, Missouri in 1996. Found a Valiant Signet in a barn south of Warrensburg, Missouri in 1998.

Here is my interesting story. Back in the 90s I always was dragging home a Mopar of some sort. I always had some advertised for ale in MCG (Mopar colctors guide. It got to where someone was always calling me with something good for sale for a state or 2 away.
About 1990, a guy calls from Mn. with what he says is a 70 hemi Cuda roller, minus shaker hood, NO motor, no vin tag. Wants $1500. He said he knew the previous owner that had it for many years, he had pulled the blowed up hemi and welded SB brackets on the K and drove it with a 318. He swore it was a real hemi cuda for sure!!!!!
From Mo. to Mn. was a haul, but next afternoon I was there. Rust free, straight, fender tag matches body, B5 auto car, just like he said. I spot the original vin tag lying in the trunk. I paid the man, loaded it up and went back to Mo.
It sat in the back of the shop a couple of years, a guy from Ca. bought it off a snapshot.

Several years ago I found a brand new STR-14-6 with 2 additional tops at an estate sale. Never bolted down. Damn, I miss picking.

Back around 1994 or 95, I found a 360 4 bbl dual snorkel air cleaner, I'd guess it was a 73 model, in a scrap metal pile that my in-laws had bought at an estate auction. It was in perfect condition, no dents or scratches, even still had a good filter in it. Sold it to a club member who owned a 73 E-body for $100.00.
My 1970 Dart Custom was found in a field in 1991 or 2, and I bought it for $70.00 complete but not running.
My one owner 76 Pontiac Ventura was found in a garage, where it had sat for 18 years, complete and running, purchased for $2250.00 in 2011 with 27k original miles.
1990 Bronco I drove home from a field find about 6 years ago for $1500.00, still driving it today.
Bare 1971 or 72 340 standard bore block found in a bush about 15 years ago, paid $300.00, sold it 2 years later for $500.00.

45 years ago-this 67 Coronet, 383-4 speed car. Found it in a cow lot beside a barn, on concrete blocks, the chrome 67 valve covers, a 65 426 Street Wedge chrome air breather, a 1968 3.54 Dana 60 and found out later it had a Hemi 4 speed in it, The passenger side window was half way down, there was a big pile of cow **** on

the front seat, it was dried already. And it had a 440 in it. It has sat inside all of these years. Decided to get it on the road this last fall. This picture was taken today. I paid 150.00 for it. I forgot how much fun it is driving a big block with a 4 speed.
