I have found a few pictures but not enough to satisfy me. I would appreciate it if members who are using 15" Crager S/S wheels could post pictures of them on your Dart and tell what size wheel, backspace and tire size you are using. Thanks in advance.

My '69 has Cragar SS wheels. The rears are 255/60-15s on a 15x7 wheel with 4 1/4" BS. The fronts are 14x6". I believe they are 3 1/2" BS. I don't recall what the front tire size is but I can look tomorrow.

Thanks for the info. Post the front tire size when you can, thanks.

Duster360, The front wheels and tires are 14x6 with 3 1/2" BS and a 215/70-14 tire. They were on the car when I bought it. Looks like the previous owner wanted equal sidewall height front and back.

Thought I would revive this thread and hopefully some other members will chime in before I buy the wheels.

Thanks to the both of you for the info. I've been strongly considering getting some Craiger SS wheels for my '67 GTS convert. Has those homely looking full wheel covers like it came with and those dang red line narrow *** polyglass 14" tires. Do you guys try and get your speedometer close after changing wheel sizes or just not worry with it? Just curious. How about a good place to purchase a set of Cragers?

15 inch Crager s/s wheels have not been available since the early 70s . if you them you will pay big time . There was a pair of 15 x10 SBP s/s wheels at Carlise last july and the guy was asking $ 1500.00 .

Use this chart to get the correct transmission speedo gear.

Ignore the fronts. Rears are 15x10 Cragars I will check back space after while (car is tubbed with inboard S/S springs and stock frame rails/rear length.)

Hard to believe no one else here on FABO uses these wheels. Maybe everyone here is just shy at the moment. Lol

I know you asked for pics on a dart, but here's some 15x8 on my barracuda

Heck ya. Now that is what I am talking about. Thanks for all the pictures. I also appreciate those specs 67dartgtconv.

thanks, I did put DR DIFF offset kit on the car but with the 15 x 7 I did not need it nor did I have to curl the lip on the fender to fit the 255/60. I would reconsider next time on running a smaller tire out front.
I did put a 1/2 spacer on the rear hanger to move the diff back to center the rear wheel in the wheel well, as I like the look but again was not needed

The tires I have now are 245 60 rear and 215 65 front. The rear wheels are 15 x 8 with 4.5 backspace and I had to roll the fenderlip. I want to be able to roll it back down.

Yeah, that's why I gave up on the 15x8, I did not want to roll the lip. Also if I remember correctly make sure your check the backspace of the current Cragar 15x8, very limited offerings

I have found a few pictures but not enough to satisfy me. I would appreciate it if members who are using 15" Crager S/S wheels could post pictures of them on your Dart and tell what size wheel, backspace and tire size you are using. Thanks in advance.

In the late 60s Cragar had a contest and gave away a 340 Dart with those wheels installed!
