I just noticed my 360 is not machined for ears. It’s an early block. Curious about when the seal was changed, or is it a 360 vs 340 difference?
 
Not right now. I’m in out of the snow for now. I’ll get back to the shop tomorrow.
 
Wings (or sealing around them) have been the biggest pain in my ***! lol

Yes, now I do: the 1970 build date is a 360; the 1971 a 340. The 360 has no place for wings, the 340 does. Did this continue with the magnums?
