I bought a used gas cap from this member listed as in nice condition. first offered $40 shipped he said he couldn't do that, he lowered price in ad , so I offered again he accepted $40 shipped.
From my pm (i would still do $40 shipped for the chrome one with black handle ,top left, if it fits a 72 filler neck. shipped to 44685) on jan 23

sent money on jan24,

he didnt mail part till jan 27 I can post pic of stamp.
Part came all dented in on sides, I pm'd him and posted a pic on the listing page, his answer I bought used and only payed $30. now I dont care if you pay a nickel or a million it should be as advertised. asked for a refund.
from my pm (you can refund me or i will be posting more on this.) got no answer so I posted neg feedback. now he has posted negative feedback with nothing but lies.
Said I was late on paying, I can prove from pay pal sent out next day jan24. lied about condition lied about this.
Said I didn't send enough money, you can see I offered $40 shipped and he accepted . another Lie
Said I never asked for refund. you can see I did. another Lie
Cubzy is a liar and cheat. not to be trusted.

I only felt the need to post this because I can prove everything I am saying, and he left negative feedback full of lies.

Cap looks exactly like it did in his for sale advert... sides distorted.

Can't see dents in his pic nor did he disclose that plus the fact he lies on everything he put in feed back , shows what kind of person he is.

It was bent on the eges in the photo(easy fix) and he ssid he was shipping on the weekend!

Just checked the ad......

If you look closely you can see some dings on the sides in the seller's pics....I would have missed them because of the angle of the sellers pic. And.......the seller said it was very nice. Personally I would not be happy with myself for not noticing the dings. But.....Buyer beware.

He said he would mail it the weekend, the 27th is the week end.

When I look at the photos the seller posted I see dents

Purchaser johndee was a very difficult person to deal with. Circumstances that I experienced dealing with johndee were: he was late to pay for the item, didn’t cover/provide adequate shipping cost, impatient to receive the item(pestering me only shortly after the item was mailed internationally

Does this constitute pestering, as you can see in bold print just more lies from a liar.
 
I can see by some of the post buyer beware might be the norm, what a shame
 
I'm amazed it got though customs and delivered in less than 12 days. Look at the picture of what you agreed to buy.. exactly what you got.

Go pour yourself a Scotch.. give it some thought and like I said, 3 minutes tomorrow and it'll look mint!
 
Paid on 24th and shipped on 27th??? Wtf is wrong with that? This ain't fn Dominoes, so I'll be up front right now and won't sell you **** if yer squawking about 2-3 days....
 
.. and to ship on the 27th he went to a Shoppers Drug store to boot, as our post offices aren't open on Saturdays. Otherwise it would have been shipped the 29th!
 
I saw the dents right away. I think you owe the seller an apology and the MODS should remove this post. This isn’t Amazon Prime.

I have never looked not once.

I purchased a part some time ago. It was improperly packaged and arrived with some damage. I brought it to the attention of the seller and all I wanted was for the seller to be more carefully packaging in the future.

I did not go on FABO and air my dirty laundry, I did not ask for a refund or any money back. Lesson learned.. I don't buy from that seller any longer.

If the seller in my case had good customer service skills the seller would have offered a partial refund. But the seller did not. Again I don't buy from the seller any longer.


Grow up, grow a pair, learn to request addition photos, don't get pissy, just move on.
 
If you can't fix that you shouldn't be working on old cars. I have fixed far worse parts cause they aren't new.
