I just got a parts car with manual steering and brakes. I was wondering what besides the master cylinder that I need to change.

Thanks

If you are going from power to manual...
  1. You can use the power master cyl
  2. You will need to get a manual pushrod
  3. Remove the master cyl from the booster
  4. Disconnect the linkage from the brake pedal
  5. Remove the power booster from the firewall
  6. Plug the vacuum port on the carb or manifold
  7. The master probably does not have the manual pushrod keeper, small rubber insert. Buy one and be sure the master does not have one in the hole in the piston, then insert it and the pushrod
  8. Mount the master to the firewall, you will need to adjust lines to fit the new location
  9. Attach the pushrod to the brake pedal
  10. Adjust the brake light switch by loosening the bolt accessible from the pass side of the steering column.
  11. Test test test

Thank you very much.
My parts is very rough, but I will keep the usable parts for the brake conversion. I copied the list.
