1965 Valiant V100 Post04.jpg

Hello from Estonia.
69 2dr with 318 Magnum, Holley Sniper, 8 1/4 LSD and 4 speed A833.
Was originally Slant6 + automatic and sold to Sweden from where I bought it.

A 1969 model VF Australian production...

This was the last model sold in Australia with the Slant 6, this one is showing the rear (but not the side) decal of the Pacer version, which was a 2bbl with a bit more grunt than the 2bbl which was sold as 160hp. Front and rear treatment was all-Australian design, shipped also to South Africa and New Zealand.

Following the VF came the 1970 VG, the last Australian Valiant to use the US sheetmetal above the floorpan:

The Slant 6 was replaced by the Hemi 6, a 245 version was standard and the 'economy' 215 an option. 318s were also an option in these models, but only with automatic transmission. A833s were never seen here.

In 1971, responding to Ford's Falcon and Holden enlarging their body sizes, the VH came along. This body was to be the final shape for Valiants and ran through until 1982. The Hemi 6 was available now in three sizes, 215, 245 and 265.

Built on the 1968 US Dart floorpan, but with widened track front and rear. The spring shackles under the rear seat were in the original position but the chassis widened under the boot/trunk and they were about 3" further apart at the rear.

Upgrades followed, VJ, VK, CL and CM. There were 'Regal' 'VIP' and Pacer versions, and the extended chassis 'Chrysler by Chrysler' as well as utilities...

...and later a panel van. But, of course, the most famous of all was the Charger:

With every option available including Hemi 6 engines from the lowly 215 to the 265 triple-Weber (305hp) intended for racing. The chassis in this was shortened and it sold like hot cakes.

If I had one I'd be showing it off.
That's a well put together a-body...I love valiants
I just have a measly 70 dart lol but hey, change the nose and you have a valiant.

Love the ‘64 Valiant! I’ve had 3 of them. All hardtops. I have one right now…6 cylinder 4 spd. Next year it gets a 360 mag trans plant

I had this one for a few years. 273/4 spd, bucket seat car. Drove the crap out of it. The bottom 6in of the car was bondo. Sold it but by the time the guy reached the end of my block, I regretted it. Bought my current one 5 months later. Lol

This 65 daily driver has a slightly rowdy 225 with a 3-speed and manual everything. Absolute base no-option model- not even flashers or windshield washers. My all time favorite driving car.
