Do NOT do any business with this man. He said he had a front bumper and brackets for a 1973 Plymouth Duster and sent me photos that he most likely lifted off someone else's post or ad. Got me for a couple hundred dollars. He refused to take cash or check, only Zelle. His email is mbautotech07@gmail.com and he claims to be from Nampa, Idaho. I repeat, do NOT do business with this scammer as you will be out a couple hundred dollars like me.

Elaborate please, you've been "here" a month. A bumper and brackets ain't easy or light to ship.

I had a large string of emails with him. I asked him once I send the payment, I would like him to take photos of the bumper and brackets taken apart and how he was packaging them. I have since contacted him 3 times asking for any sort of photos, proof, or even a tracking number. The last time he responded to me was last Thursday (10-9-25). When he began ignoring me was exactly 24 hours after payment was sent, meaning he got the money.

Odd that every single one of 14 posts are all in the Welcome Wagon.......never seen a newbie do something like that before.

I would give him a day or two to respond here, then post his contact info.
Good luck.

Sorry it's gone sideways. In future, if spidey sense is tingling, take precautions...ask for pics 1st, complete name and address, also start a "referral thread" here and people may vouch or not. Ive had sellers take a pic with "fabo" written on pc of paper and included in pic.
Sounds good. Trying to dispute the charge. Hopefully my bank will understand

Just a thought...

Yesterday was a federal holiday. It's not inconceivable that this guy is/was simply off grid or at least off internet and spending time doing something else. Like @4spdragtop mentioned, you might give him a bit longer before going off the rails.

Don't get me wrong, I'm impatient as hell sometimes, especially where money is concerned but it's only been a few days.

Best of luck.

I got a front bumper off a 73 Duster I will give you. I'll even drop it off at any local freight company of your choice. Make the arrangements, pay them directly and I will drop off the bumper.

Your inbox is full. I am incredibly interested if you have one. How would I set something up like that?

Some guys only use their work computers... Just sayin. Hard to believe someone would take the time to use the Welcome section and then sell and ghost
I had a feeling he wasn't a scammer due to him being part of the community and welcoming people. But I just haven't heard from him and I 99% sure I got scammed.
