I was working on replacing the heater core 1973 dart factory air conditioning and I had to stop halfway through for a week and I can't remember what these two little foam pieces are or if they even go to . maybe I cut them off of something ? I cannot remember .

Does anybody recognize them or where or what they go to ? Soft foam pieces about an inch wide .

I did take pictures while taking the box apart , but somehow almost all of those pictures disappeared . stupid phone .

Recently been doing a lot under the dash , cluster and wiper pivots , but I thought I cleaned up all stuff from those projects .

It's hard to tell their size but I would guess either wiper pivot to cowl seals or A/C lines to heater box. Just guessing though.

That is what they look like. They come in the gasket kit from DMT, but are a better material than OEM. They fit in the cutouts for the inside firewall heater box insulation.

I was thinking they are more like maybe something for anti-rattle . Maybe inside the box . I didn't take the box off the firewall , just part off the front to get to the heater core . Also , I just found the old wiper pivot seals , so it's not those . I can't remember what they went to . These are better pictures . The darker ones are the old pivot seals .

DMT kit should have a call out for where they go. All of their material is listed.
