I've been toying with the idea of installing a bolt-in roll bar while I still have it at this point in the the resto. I would weld the mounting plates under the car with the nuts welded as well. That way it would be easy to sandwich the top mounting plates and bar to the inside floor. I would be able to remove it when not racing so as to keep the nice smooth convertible lines intact.
