I'm looking for a 742 or 489 case 3.55 or 3.23 sure grip differential. Will pay cash or have a 489 4.30 sure grip or 741 3.91 sure grip for trade. Located in Saratoga, CA.
 
i want those 3.91 i have the 3.23 but no sure grip please trade me haha with cash or trade or something

I don't have pics right now, but I can get some. The 3.91 is sitting in an 8 3/4" I'm about to put in my dart though. Are you local?

DusterBoy15- I want to get another sure grip before I get rid of the one's I have right now. Dart has a big block in it so it needs the sure grip.

No I'm not local. I live in Corous christi tx. My 3.23 is a clutch style sure grip... came outta a 1969 rodarunner.
 
I have a 3.23 suregrip out of a 68' road runner(742) being shipped to me this week. Thats all I know until I get it, supposed to be in nice shape. I only wanted it for the suregrip but would like to do a deal on your 4.30s
 
Ideally I am looking for a local trade or someone that is local with one of those 2 gearsets for sale. I can't do a trade for a non sure grip right now as I need one for the car.
 
Uh....I'm confused.....why can't you buy the 3.23 or 3.55 gears and put them in the 489 suregrip diff that you already have??:scratch:

Did i miss something here?:dontknow:
 
I could do that, but why not just trade for a set if someone has them. If it comes down to that I may end up buying a set.
