I'm new to this forum but not new to Mopar. I discovered the site last week and registered today. I have a 67' Dart GT (Slant 6 swapped for a 318 and a WW2 US army 4X4 Dodge truck. Of course it's my Dart that brings me here. Could not post a picture of the car, it's back from the paint shop and everything is apart !

Welcome from Oklahoma! This is a great site, with great folks. Post some pics if you can, no matter what the condition. You need 10 posts befor you can post pics tho.

Is your truck a PowerWagon? Mmmmm. PowerWagon........

Thank you for welcoming ... As for dumb questions, I have plenty in store, don't worry !
Yeah Bigmacdak, my truck is kinda like a power wagon but it's the earlier military version. Someone not accustomed to these vehicles could mix them. The power wagon was developped after the war for civilian use but it's very similar. It was my first vehicle and I even bought it before having my driving license.

Welcome
We'd all like to see pics of the dart .
But I especially would like to see the truck .
Military vehicles have always fascinated Me.

I cannot post pictures yet, because of the 10 posts rule. I made a couple of black and white pictures in July with a period correct environment (An old garage dating at last from the forties) I'll post them asap. I'm a big military vehicles fan, especially the american ones from the 40's.

welcome, love the truck, how about the dart pics too. What are the plans for the dart?

It runs, I don't have nice pics around but I'll post some asap. It's totally stock. Nothing amazing I'm afraid !

Uhm... he joined in september of last year, haha. Nice truck anyway, but to late to welcome you

The 6X6 is a wonderful machine. My truck is equiped with a 6X6 transfer case, it just lacks a second rear axle !:-D

Yeah, you're right, i joined a few monthes ago but someone wanted the pictures ... Anyway, it's cool to have a few more contacts. Thank you guys.

Welcome aboard.

Here is a pic of a powerwagon that I know of. Unfortunately it will probably go into the wrong hands. Long story that I don't care to go into. But I have seen the original sales slip straight from the Army auction from 1942. It cost $632 if I remember correctly. It has no rust what so ever.

And yes, it is holding up the carport on this end. :angry7:
