'69 Aussie A Body Wagon

Hey Gooon, just to get an idea- how hard is it to find a decent wagon of your vintage in Aussieland? What is the price range? Unless I inherit a ton of money or some such I'll probably never get my hands on one, but some of the others on here just might...

In Goon's absence I can give you an idea - I've been keeping my eye on the market here as it's been a long held desire to have a Safari Wagon to cruise the beaches in. I reckon up to $12,000 AUD would get you a wagon in excellent condition, original or restored. The Green Wagon above, which is show condition perfection, was selling here for $17,000. Since the US led financial crash, the Australian dollar has plummeted from almost parity with the US dollar to be worth .70 cents - you can do the maths.

Here's a link to a 68 Safari Wagon (Torquiose and white, my fav. colour combo) selling now on ebay australia. My rough guess is it will sell for no more than $8,000 AUD.
