I wasn't the first to mention it, but I do have a great story related to that movie. My wife-to-be and I went to see it while we were dating. When we got there, a parking space (yes, this was pre-multiplex-at-the-mall!) was open right in front of the theater.

After 90 minutes of everyone watching Barry Newman hot rod his Challenger across the country, they step outside and my nice shiny '74 Challenger is parked right out front! :iconbigg:

So, I get to 'Excuse me' through the gawkers, fire it up and drive off! :thumblef:

Don't watch much TV now, my 'old' favorites were the Avengers (gotta love Diana Rigg!), the original Mission Impossible TV show, Quantum Leap, the Pretender...

I do like House also.....most of my time is spent listening to XM satellite radio though anymore.....

Comedy...maybe - Plane's, train's and automobles or Deuce Bigalow (male Gigolo)
War (action) - Band of Brothers, Saving Private Ryan
Car Classics - Dirty Harry, Crazy Mary; Bullitt and Dual (Dennis Weaver) :happy1: :drinkers:

Oh yeah...i watch Pinks all the time on Speed too.....if you haven't seen it it's on Wednesdays at 8pm eastern......new season starts on the 22nd of this month. Basically there are 2 guys drag racing cars or bikes......and they are racing for "pinks" best 2 of 3 or 3 of 5....winner takes both cars. This 2nd season is supposed to be really good because most guys waited for the 1st year to see how it was gonna work out.

and lets not forget Joe manix, nothing but mopars, forgot about that one did't ya oldvart :notworth:

well lets see... there is house , CSI's ( all of them) , bones , Family guy , futurama , simpsons , American Dad, going old school... ren and stimpy , rockos modern life , dukes , Mash , gilligans island (lmao) there are so many more though... and i religiously watch the speed channel and Spike on saturday mornings when its all about the cars baby lol

If your going to go back that far......The Green Hornet and Mike Brady (no Robert Reed comments :color: ) used to drive a Barracuda I believe in the later episodes of the Brady Bunch. The only reason I know these shows is cause of Nick at Night......and re-runs.

Yes your write Mr brady had some dandy wagons to. them old wagons hooked write up

I am a total South Park junkie!
I also like the Daily Show with John Stewart.
The first movie I ever saw on the "big screen" was the Blues Brothers... with my mom and dad. We watched it from a conversion van at the drive-in theater in Prestonsburg, KY! I made my wife watch it for the first time yesterday... she had no idea that a 74 Monaco could do a backflip.

who could forget two lane blacktop? especially the opening scene of street racing. the movie was slow but the cars were fast

Aahhh, Two Lane Blacktop.... My Favorite line from that movie is when they stop to gas and the mechanic gets out and says "I'll check the jets". Nothing like a carb tune-up at the gas pump.

I don't watch much TV anymore. I still make time for Drag Racing and some of the stuff on Spike on Weekends. Then again, I try to see some of the home stuff on PBS, including the New Yankee Workshop

i forgot dragnet ,and 1 adam-12. how can you forget the hammer and chisel at the end of the show!

In no particular order; Las Vegas, 24, Mail Call, History Channel, NHRA, NASCAR, Spike TV(sat/sun morn.), Survivor, Smoky and the Bandit, Blues Brothers, Bullet, Full Metal Jacket, and Curling when I can see it. You northeners and Canadians know what I;m talking about. :salut:

It is a sit-com that is on Monday nights. It's about a player, and his brother comes lives with him with his 10 year old son. It has Charlie sheen in it as the player.

Favorite show of all time......The Honeymooners !! I love all the old car movies and one of my favorites is Hollywood Knights. Ron

I don't watch a lot of TV on my own, but when the kids are over I watch Mythbusters and Animal Cops with them. There's not too many other shows they watch that I can sit through.

One show that I do watch without the kids is Nip Tuck. Now that is a weird show, but I am hooked on it!
