Well after a year and 3 weeks the dart is back on the road. The 416 is really running strong and I can't wait till this thing's broke in to see what its got. It feels like if I put a set of 4.10 gears and some slicks on it and launched it hard off the converter it would lift the front tires off the ground . Lookin forward to seeing some of you guys from the K.C. area at the shows this summer.

Well, I've got about 350 miles on it so far the only problems i've had is keeping the waterneck sealed and... the alternator called it quits tuesday night, I figured it was going to go sooner or later because I dropped it right before I put it in. And then the fuel pump started leaking around the diaphram. Other than this The car is running good. There is a little 1/8 mile strip by my work that I've blasted up a couple times. I'm getting up to right around 100 mph!!! That's 20 mph faster than with the old 340. Traction is definatly an issue now  . Going to order a set of super stock springs and a spring relocation kit next week. The stock springs sag too much for the MP adjustable pinion snubber I bought. There is only about a 1/4" of space between the floor and the snubber. That's what's new, I'll keep y'all updated.

Hey I am going out to KC for the SkillsUSA national competition on the 18th so umm how about lending me the keys so I can take some girls out haha just kidding. Awesome ride though man... I was thinking about building a 340 up too but I am settling for the 318 and just trying to get some amazing numbers outta it without going to skyscaper height prices. Anyways ... awesome ride and I love the color! Is it B-7 Blue? or B-9? Heck I am not that good with colors but I know yours looks great!

I bet she does run hard as them smallblock strokers really impress me. Just to let you know we use the SS 002 and 003 springs on my sons Dart. Everything else on the suspension is stock and we don't use the pinion snubber as it didn't seem to make any difference. We use Hoosier QTP tires at the track that are 26 x 9.5 and they fit great in the stock wheelwell and it hooks hard on them. Out of 10 passes last Sunday at the track evey 60 ft was a 1.61 or 1.62.
